Mr. Jaffe is active in the firm’s practice before the Surface Transportation Board.  He has represented numerous utilities in maximum reasonable rate proceedings, where he has been a leader in the development and refinement of the complex interplay between the written and electronic evidence utilized in these cases.  Mr. Jaffe also has extensive experience in analyzing and evaluating maximum rate case studies.  His agency practice has also included major rulemakings and related appeals.

Mr. Jaffe is also active in the firm’s litigation practice.  He has represented a variety of clients in federal and state court litigation, as well as arbitration.  Mr. Jaffe also directs the firm’s electronic discovery activities.

Mr. Jaffe has also represented clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Prior to joining Slover & Loftus, Mr. Jaffe worked for an electric utility association for four years and on Capitol Hill for two years.  Mr. Jaffe was also a member of the George Washington University Law School Moot Court and Trial Court Boards.
