A. Rebecca Williams is a recent graduate from Georgetown University Law Center. While attending law school, Ms. Williams worked in the Georgetown Juvenile Justice Clinic, where she served as defense counsel for juveniles charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes in the District of Columbia. Ms. Williams spent significant time in the courtroom, advocating before DC Superior Court judges, negotiating with Assistant Attorney Generals, and preparing for trial. After graduation, Ms. Williams continued to work for the Clinic as a law clerk while studying for the bar exam.
During her time at Georgetown, Ms. Williams worked as a summer associate in the litigation department of a general counsel firm and a summer law clerk in the Office of Chief Counsel at the Internal Revenue Service. She served as Senior Submissions Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, completed over 125 hours of Pro Bono service, and spent two Spring Breaks volunteering at the Louisiana Center for Children’s Rights. Prior to law school, Ms. Williams worked as an assistant in the business development department of a large international corporate law firm in New York, NY.
Ms. Williams joined the firm as an associate in 2017.
